Civil Society Forum 2024
On March 12th, ECE-RCEM is proud to host a Civil Society Forum, serving as the pre-meeting to the Regional Forum on Sustainable Development for the UNECE region. Throughout the day, civil society members and youth representatives from the region will convene to delve into crucial discussions surrounding the progress of the 2030 Agenda.
With a keen focus on various aspects, participants will explore the preparations for the Summit of the Future, scrutinize the engagement processes in Voluntary National Review (VNR) countries, and collaborate on interventions for the Regional Forum's opening, closing, and roundtable sessions, where every aspect of the forum will be carefully captured to ensure meaningful engagement and impactful outcomes.
Due to challenges posed by the reduction in funding for the Regional Forum on Sustainable Development, this year's Civil Society Forum will be held only in person. The program of the Civil Society Forum can be found below:
